About

My name is Jay Fondren

Welcome, friends.

Jay Fondren

I’m Jay Fondren—a proud Texan, husband, father of six, and U.S. Army Veteran. I know firsthand the cost of freedom. On the day before Thanksgiving 2004, a roadside bomb in Iraq changed my life forever. I lost both of my legs and my right thumb, but I didn’t lose my faith, my love for this country, or my determination to serve.

For nearly twenty years, I’ve fought for Veterans, first responders, and their families—helping them navigate broken systems and find hope again. Now, I’m stepping forward once more—this time to fight for you and for the future of Texas’ 8th District.

Washington has lost its way, but I believe our best days are still ahead—if we return to the values that built this nation: faith, family, and freedom.

This campaign isn’t about politics—it’s about principle. It’s about standing firm when it matters most. It’s about sending fighters—not followers—to Congress. I invite you to join me in this mission.

Together, we can restore integrity, protect our families, and keep Texas strong for generations to come.

Let’s fight for faith.

Let’s fight for freedom.

Let’s fight for Texas. — Jay Fondren
